At low tide a broad stretch of golden sand is on display running all the way up to the high tide line which is a forest of driftwood.
Across the sea the snow capped Coastal Mountains punctuate the horizon adding a touch of grey and white to the tones of blue from the sea and sky. The beach is a well known destination for locals and tourists alike, revelling in the combination of sun, sand and sea. As the day turns to evening the sunset paints the sky with oranges and pinks, and the driftwood logs create a perfect place to sit and toast the day with a gin and tonic.

Saratoga Sands Dry Gin is hand crafted from ingredients sourced as close as possible to the distillery.
From the grain that is used to make the spirit to the botanicals that infuse it with flavour. We cultivate our own juniper from which berries used in Saratoga Sands are sourced. The over 100 Juniper bushes are planted on the property along with the fields of barley we grow to provide the base of our new make spirit. Both are within a mile of the picturesque Saratoga beach from which we draw our name and inspiration.
In High Spirits.
At Saratoga Sands we make our own vodka grade spirit base on which the botanicals are distilled in a single shot to make the gin. Starting with double pot distilled malted barley new make, the spirit is then rectified in our column still to 190 proof before being treated with activated carbon and filtered clear to yield a spirit of vodka quality. We use Juniper, Coriander, Angelica root and a couple of other carefully chosen botanicals to create a classic London dry gin. These are added to this spirit in our onion gin pot still and allowed to steep overnight before being distilled in a single shot to produce a handcrafted gin of exceptional quality in the true London dry style.
